GSGSG GRAND IFTAR WITH POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS AND UUM COLGIS STAFF STRENGTHENS BONDS

SINTOK, 27 March 2025: Ghazali Shafie Graduate School of Government (GSGSG) has organised a University Social Responsibility (USR) programme as well as an iftar ceremony with postgraduate students and key UUM COLGIS staff at EDC UUM.

Ghazali Shafie Graduate School of Government (GSGSG) also guests from members of the JIL UUM COLGIS Meeting, key University officials, Director of the UUM Zakat and Waqaf Centre, asnaf from the Changlun area, UPSB staff and postgraduate students of UUM COLGIS who were at the UUM Campus.

The ceremony was further enlivened by the donation of the Ramadan basket to the Changlun asnaf and UPSB staff, which GSGSG provided due to cash donations from the Zakat Fund, Waqf Centre and UUM Zakat.

In his speech, GSGSG Dean Prof. Dr. Rusdi Omar expressed his hope that the Ramadan iftar event would strengthen the bonds between staff, postgraduate students, and the local community.

He also hoped that the good relationship between GSGSG and postgraduate students could continue to be maintained in the future.

Also, present and enlivening the ceremony were the Director of the Centre for Zakat & Waqf, Dr. Mohamad Zulkurnai Ghazali, and UUM COLGIS alums. – Nor Afiq Abd Razak
